There is a bigger issue at stake here with these instruments in
worship and it has everything to do with the book of Psalms and THEY SANG A NEW
SONG in the book of Revelation. And many false teachers are running around
claiming that the bible is silent concerning instruments in NT worship!?! Not
only do the scriptures SPECIFICALLY STATE THAT THE NT CHURCH WOULD IN FACT USE
“MECHANICAL INSTRUMENTS” & clap hands et al but the very same passages
calls you fools for not understanding these things!?!?...(better get your bible
out and pay attention).... These wicked men who are so puffed up against the
truth telling themselves it is because they are so pious are not just damming
themselves but the very ones spoken of in 1Tim 1:7-8; 2Tim 3:5-7; 2Peter 2:1-3;
et al. If they had understood the instruments issue they would not be out
proudly preaching the damnable heresies even denying the Lord that bought them
...you cant love an appearing you deny exist. (2Tim 4:8 ) All of this is
addressing the second (and final) coming of Christ in the war of AD70. Further
This “NEW SONG” found both in the book of revelation and the OT that speaks of
the very same things Revelation does has EVERYTHING do to with it….
....This paper here is taken and adapted from Chapter 5 ~Pgs 97-107and
they sang a new song of this book and how relevant it is to the doctrine of
AD70 which touches almost every single doctrine of the church that Christ
built.

Many of you are confused mixing up doing away with the old law and
covenant with doing away with OT prophecies about the new covenant and how
things are defined in the NT from the OT ...... THEY SANG A NEW SONG in the
book of Revelation comes directly and verbatim out of OT and all dealing with
the destruction of Jerusalem war of AD70 .... THE NEW SONG has EVERYTHING do to
with this and the OT states that the NT folks will sing with instruments &
CLAPPING HANDS !?!?....it is the demandable heresies that you hold that keep
you from sound doctrine on instruments and visa versa....your ignore the
scriptures but claim your speaking where the bible speaks....this is just foolishness
and "ironically" the very passages that speak of these things say
that as well!?!.....
FOOLS, HYPOCRITES and BLIND GUIDES.....Every single NT reference
command to singing cites or quotes the book of Psalms...one might think the
author actually intended for us to use the book of Psalms, particularly since
the book of PSALMS IS A PROPHECY ABOUT THE CHRIST AND WHAT HIS CHURCH WOULD DO
NOT HOW TO KEEP THE OLD LAW..(in fact doing away with the old law also comes
out of the book of psalms)……and you thought it was a book of poetry!?!...it is
prophecy about what the messiah and his church would do………............
Now, imagine picking up a book (ie NT) reading it and ignoring the
definitions in some other book (ie OT) that the book your reading (ie NT) keeps
telling you to reference (ie OT). This also begs the question what would the
apostles have had to do in order to get folks to look at the book and
scriptures they all keep citing and quoting from? . Imagine someone telling
others (ie in the NT) to use Kimberley’s cookbook (ie OT) and bake a cake and
even quote a small section out of that cookbook (ie OT). Imagine that same
person walks in a little latter and starts berating the people for using flour
and sugar and a mechanical mixer of all things!?! Imagine that persons making
the claim “All I said was bake a cake I did not say anything about flour or
sugar or an electric mixer of all things; all that other stuff is
'unauthorized'”. You would rightly think that person was a fool, because the
instruction to bake the cake is defined by the cookbook that was quoted from
(and you were told not to think beyond it OT scriptures) when the instructions
were given……………
…............. But however, In the same way that men might point to
his children and say “ok guys, I want you all to go out and clean the yard. I
want you get a rake, some trash bags, some gloves, the weed eater, the
lawnmower and clean up the yard. Only a fool would try to interpret that as a
command for each son to wear gloves with trash bags in his hand along with a
rake, a weed eater, sitting on a lawnmower all at the same time or even all
individually! The list is inclusive to what the sons will use and do it is not
an exclusive demand for everyone to do or use everything and certainly not all at
the same time. Like all scriptures that address doctrine and prophecy they must
be taken in concert with each other not in spite of each other. …….. All NT
doctrine is comes from and is defined by the OT scriptures. (2Tim 3:14-17; Acts
17:11; 1Cor 4:6)Every NT passage of scripture on singing comes out of and or
directly quotes from the book named psalms such that one could only wonder what
Psalms we are to sing with the understanding. If you want to know what is
“authorized” perhaps you should pay attention to the scriptures (Its own
context&/Dictionary) they quote from when they issue doctrine on such
things as singing and then even told you not to think beyond that!? .........
.........You think your speaking where the bible speaks and keeping
silent where the bible is silent by ignoring the very psalms and scriptures
that the apostles refer to when they command singing but create or use your own
"psalms" (form the baptist bible book store et al) and ignore the
instructions of what the church was prophesied to do?!?......Mat 7:2 Get ready
for it, your eternal damnation is closer then you think!!.......If people would
use the scriptures the way the first century did they would not hold to so many
heresies (such as the soon any day now return of Christ in denial of the only
and last "second coming" [aka the gospel message] that took place in
that generation) and they would not be condemning folks for doing things that
they themselves can and will be condemned for not doing!?! Using mechanical instruments
would have been optional for those who kept their mouths shut but since they
speak out to condemn others for it, they will find themselves to be condemned
for not using instruments!?! (Mat 7:2) The very reasons they claim to condemn
the use, namely speaking where the bible speaks and keeping silent where the
bible is silent; adding to and taking from “the pattern” condems them!?!? All
this not to mention the idolatrous glorification of acapella (& use of
speakers period) is just outright disgraceful and hypocritical on a scale that
only the woefully and willfully blind can fail to see.............
If you condemn instruments in worship you are condemned for not
using them because the scriptures foretold that the NT/NEW COVENANT church
would USE THEM.(Mat 7:2)...but most of you seem not to know or care what the
scriptures say you care more about how you have decided to
"interpret" and apply them................ Et all ad fin…
Those who reject the truth of the gospel of AD70 which is in part
why they do not understand the Instruments in worship issue are the ones who
have a form of godliness but deny the power of it....They are the ones that are
full of animosity and hatred they stir up...The truth never gets the blame for
any division the fact that error was there first and then the truth comes along
and division, animosity and hatred begin to take place does not place the blame
on the truth that came but rather the error that was already present ...those
that condemn instruments are the cause of division, animosity and hatred of the
truth as well as other heresies period!...

Revelation
ch 5
Much of Ch
5 if covered in the Ch 4 notes. However, review the workbooks and pay
particular attention to the “song of Moses” and “the song of the Lamb” Also
notes that every single reference to NT singing and how they come from and or
quote from the book of Psalms and out of the law and prophets. This is
important and significant because almost all NT doctrine comes out of or can be found and sourced from the book of
Psalms. The book of Psalms is not a book of poetry nor a book about how to keep
the law of Moses it is prophecy about the messiah and what the church would do.
In fact the doctrine of not keeping the law of Moses comes out of the book of
Psalms! It is where the Apostles quote from when making that argument. Paul
commended the Berean’s for Acts 17:11.
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received
the word with all readiness of mind, and searched
the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. And again 1 Cor 4:6 And these things,
brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your
sakes; that ye might learn in us not
to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be
puffed up for one against another. It is
truly ironic that many folks seem to think they are to get their “psalms” from
the Baptist bible book store or some other book store ignore what the book of
Psalms that Jesus, Peter, Paul all quote from in the commands to sing psalms
and then claim to speak where the bible speak and be silent where it is silent.
Christ cited psalms for doctrine, so too did Peter and Paul and they tell us
not to think beyond them and yet folks really believe the are contending for
the faith when they do not apply the very words quoted by the Christ and his
Apostles on how to sing , and on what to sing. If they had done that they would
not be out preaching damnable heresies
they do and condemning themselves to hell in their condemnation of
others for things they willfully ignorantly know nothing about. Rather then
keeping the words of Christ they dream up doctrines that don’t exist except in
their vain, foolish, ignorant and disobedient hearts.
Revelation 5:1. And I saw in
the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the
backside, sealed with seven seals. (The seven seal
will be addressed in more and more detail as we move throught this annylisis
particularly in Ch 6 going forward) 2. And I saw a strong
angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to
loose the seals thereof? 3. And no man
in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book,
neither to look thereon. 4. And I wept
much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to
look thereon. 5. And one of the elders
saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of
David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6. And I beheld, and, lo, in
the midst of the throne and of the four
beasts, and in
the midst of the elders,
stood a Lamb as it had been slain,(Eph 1:4;
Heb 4:3; 1 Peter 1:20; Rev 13:8-9) having
seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. (Rev 4:5…. here were seven
lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.) 7.
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon
the throne. 8. And when he had taken the
book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every
one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of
saints. 9. And THEY SUNG A NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals
thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of
every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10. And hast made us unto our God kings and
priests: and we shall reign on the earth. 11.
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of
many angels round
about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the
number of them was ten thousand times
ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 12. Saying with a
loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and
wisdom, and strength, honour, and glory, and blessing. 13. And every creature which is in heaven, and on
the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in
them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
14. And THE FOUR BEAST said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth
for ever and ever
Part 1: “The Old Song”:
The NEW
SONG is another way of describing that NEW NAME. In the same way that the new
name was the contrasts of the old word of God; old covenant; the old commands,
the new song is likewise the new covenant for God’s people. The new song is a
fulfillment of the old song. That is to say the new covenant fulfills the
promises of the old for the old foretold of its own demise as well as a
redemption that would come in a new covenant. The new song is that new
covenant, the promise that was to come as well as the old that would pass away
as foretold to bring in that new covenant. Like so many other things we come
across in the scriptures the same things is alluded to in different ways so as
to highlight the various different aspects. The new song is contrasted with the
old song. The old song is the song of Moses lets examine that song and take
note of the correlation in the OT and & NT scriptures for both make
reference to it.
Rev 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount
Sion , and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. ……(2Cor 1:22; Eph 1:13; 4:30; Deut 18:15) 2, And I heard a voice from
heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard THE VOICE OF HARPERS HARPING WITH THEIR HARPs: 3.
And THEY SUNG AS IT WERE A NEW SONG before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and NO MAN COULD LEARN THAT
SONG BUT THE HUNDRED AND FORTY AND FOUR
THOUSAND, which were
redeemed from the earth.
Rev 15:1 And
I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven
angels having the seven
last plagues; for in them is
filled up the wrath of God. 2. And I saw as it
were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the
victory over the
beast, and over his
image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of
glass, HAVING THE HARPS OF GOD.3.And THEY SING THE SONG Of MOSES the servant of God, AND THE SONG OF THE LAMB, saying, Great and marvellous are thy
works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
4. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and
glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and
worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. 5.
And after that I looked, and, behold,
the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: 6.
And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and
having their breasts girded with golden girdles. 7. And one
of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden
vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. 8.
And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his
power; and no man was able
to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
Notice the train of thought from
the song of Moses and what that is to the song of the Lamb. Same God gave both
however the end of one is its own destruction while foretelling of something
else to come. While the song of the land mentions the ending elements in the previous but
focuses on the realization of those better promises. Heb 8:5. Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as
Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See,
saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. 6. But now
hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the
mediator of a better covenant,
which was established upon better
promises.
Lk 24:44. And he said unto them, These are the words
which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be
fulfilled, which were WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF
MOSES, and IN THE
PROPHETS, and IN THE
PSALMS, concerning me. (See also: Luke 21:28-31 & Gal 3:13 When did the curse
come and when did that redemption come?)
EVERYTHING INCLUDING CHRIST SECOND

THE DOCTRINE THAT THE SAINTS WOULD JUDGE THE WORLD COMES OUT OF PSALMS

& 15:3 note also this in the song of Moses and the “new song” aka song of
the lamb are both found in the book of Psalms) in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun

The Song of Moses warned of a seven
fold curse the first four were mentioned by name: Famine, Pestilence (death),
Sword, Beast. These are also associated with the first four seals in revelation otherwise know as “the
four horsemen of the apocalypse.” The last three were promised to come but were
not named. Overall focus of Revelation covers these seven curses three different
times via seven seals, seven Trumps and seven vials of wrath. The other key
point to keep in remembrance is that everything has two sides to it. That is to
say something is destroyed something is redeemed at the same time. Where in one
event there is shame for some it is glory for others. Darkness for some is also
light for others. The morning for some is joy for others, those that mourn for
their sins will have joy, but the others are mourning because of the results of
their sins of the fact they got caught in their sins. All these things are two
sides to the same coin.
Part 2: “Judgment of The New Song”:
You cannot
grasp NT Doctrine without understanding OT scriptures and doctrine from which
it is sourced and even quoted from, particularly after they told you not to
think beyond it. The OT scriptures were NOT nailed to the cross only the OT
rituals and laws for purification and justification were. Those who have
attempted to say otherwise demonstrate quite vividly what Paul said… 1Tim
1:6. From which some
having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; 7. Desiring
to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof
they affirm. 8. But we know that the law is good, if a man
use it lawfully; Peter ,and indeed
Christ and all the apostles, refer to the OT scriptures even when they cast
lots to replace Judas. Almost every doctrine they taught comes out of psalms.
If people would examine the book as a whole they would understand why and how
Peter came to the conclusion that he did. However, it appears that most folks
seem to view psalms as just some sort of poetic prose that maybe perhaps can be
found sprinkled with some prophetic musings but overall except for the quotes, (never mind all that identical doctrines and
context) they find it mostly void of
any “authority” to teach NT doctrine or relevance to NT practices. Their
damnation will be just. Below are
several references that will show the relationship between the new song and the
destruction of Jerusalem
and the honor that the saints of God have in avenging their blood on the very
nation that killed them and how all of that relates to the redemption that came
at that same time. Also take note of the
scriptures from here and how they specifically states they (the NT CHURCH)
would “SING A NEW SONG; PLAY SKILLFUL” with trumpets, trembles, harps and
clapping of hands sometimes mentioning the instruments first and then the new
song and other times mentioning the new song first and then list the
instruments so there is no way to be confused about WHO the HOW and even WHEN
is clearly defined and the singing would be done (future in the new covenant)
Psalms 33:1. Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for
praise is comely for the upright. 2.
Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery

The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices
of the people of none effect. (1Cor 1:19-21) 11. The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. 12.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom
he hath chosen for his own inheritance…. 15. He fashioneth
their hearts alike; (Ezk
11:19) …….. 20. Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help

sound. 4. For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
5. O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. (1Cor 2:10) 6. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. (this is not just limited to the previous verse only as
demonstrated in the other Psalms passages that speak to these very same
things…..) 7. When the wicked spring as the grass, and when
all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it
is that they shall be
destroyed for ever: 8. But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.
9. For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord, for,
lo, thine enemies shall
perish; all the workers of
iniquity shall be
scattered. 10. But my
horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with
fresh oil. 11. Mine eye also shall see
my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against
me. 12. The righteous shall flourish
like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon .

house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14. They shall still bring forth
fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; 15. To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in
him.

established that it shall not be moved: HE SHALL JUDGE THE PEOPLE RIGHTEOUSLY. .. ..
13. Before THE LORD: FOR HE
COMETH, FOR HE COMETH TO JUDGE THE EARTH: HE SHALL JUDGE THE WORLD WITH
RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND THE PEOPLE WITH HIS TRUTH.
Ps 98:1. O SING UNTO THE LORD A NEW SONG; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm,
(Christ is that right hand and holy arm of God
that god used to create all things in the same way we do with our right hand
and arm) hath gotten him the victory. (1Cor 15:52-57) 2.
The Lord hath made known his salvation: his
righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. (Rom 16:25-28) 3.
He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel : all the ends
of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. 4. Make
a joyful noise unto the Lord,
all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. 5. Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the
harp, and the voice of a psalm. 6. With trumpets and sound of cornet make

Now, imagine picking up a technical book reading it and
ignoring the definitions in some other book that the book your reading keeps
telling you to reference. This is the foolishness of those who ignore the fact
that every single reference in the NT on Christ second coming and other such
things as singing come from the OT and the book of psalms. This begs the
question what would the apostles have had to do in order to get folks to look
at the book and scriptures they all keep citing and quoting from? Would they
have had to quote every single passage? How could they even understand the
context of the NT by ignoring the source text for the NT Doctrines? It is truly amazing how many references to
the book of Psalms is made in the NT in fact if you put them all together while
you would not have all direct quotes you most certainly would have the bulk of
that entire book found in the NT scriptures. One might think if you are to
search the scripture to evaluate Paul et al, you might actually go to and study
the very text and context from which all doctrine including much of Rev and the
second coming and judgment from, namely the book of Psalms. Every single ref to
NT singing is from and or quotes the OT scriptures including the references in
Revelation… “learn in us not to think beyond what is written”. Most of Christ
and the Apostles own doctrine come from here …..(1Cor 4:6; Acts 17:11; 2Tim 3:16 also ref lesson
on what was nailed to the cross…it was not the OT scriptures only the
ordinances for justification. All doctrine originates and is defined by
the OT scriptures both in general form and in even in specific substance)
Part 3: “New Covenant”:
The new
song is the new Covennat that what Revelation is all about the passing away of
the old heavens and earth and brininig in a new heaven and new earth where
righteouness dwells; the new covenant, confirmed over that one week or 7 years
wars and consummated at the end of that war Dan 9:26-27 The very doctrine
of doing away with the old law is sourced from the book of Psalms that speaks
to this and its relationship to the new song to all the other things being
fortold..
Psalms 40:3 And
HE HATH PUT A NEW SONG IN MY MOUTH, even praise unto our God: MANY SHALL SEE IT, and fear, and SHALL TRUST IN THE LORD.. …
6. SACRIFICE AND OFFERING
THOU DIST NOT DESIRE; mine ears hast thou opened: BURNT OFFERING AND SIN OFFERING HAST THOU NOT REQUIRED. 7.
Then said I, LO, I COME: IN THE VOLUME OF THE
BOOK IT IS WRITTEN OF ME. 8. I
DELIGHT TO DO THY WILL, O MY GOD: yea, thy law is within my heart. 9. I have preached righteousness in the great
congregation: lo, I
have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest. 10.
I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I
HAVE DECLARED thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have
not concealed thy lovingkindness and THY TRUTH
FROM THE GREAT CONGREGATION… 13. Be pleased, O Lord,
to deliver me: …14. Let them be ashamed and confounded
together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and
put to shame that wish me evil. 15.
LET THEM BE DESOLATE for a
reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha. 16. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be
glad in thee: .
This quoted
almost verbatim by the Hebrew writer…..is about NT WORSHIP ..the NEW SONG and
what it means…how it will be sung!?!
Heb 10:5. …, SACRIFICE AND OFFERING
THOU WOULDEST NOT,
but a body hast thou prepared me: 6. IN BURNT OFFERINGS AND
SACRIGICES FOR SIN HAST HAD NO PLEASURE. 7. Then said I, LO, I COME (IN THE VOLUME OF THE BOOK
IT IS WRITTEN OF ME.) TO
DO THY WILL, O GOD.
8. …., Sacrifice and offering and burnt
offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure
therein; which are offered by the law; 9. Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy
will, O God….. 16. THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE AFTER THOSE DAYS, saith
the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write
them; 17. And THEIR SINS AND INIQUITIES WILL I REMEMBER NO MORE. (See “end
of sin” annex) …
Heb 12:24. And to Jesus the
mediator of THE NEW COVENANT, and to
the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25…. Yet once more I
shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27. And this word, Yet once more,
signifieth the
removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, (Pysical Israel
made of people who are made of “earth”) that those things
which cannot be shaken may remain.
28. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which
cannot be moved, … 29.
For our
God is a consuming fire. What is
shaken is the old covenant, that which was bound in heaven and that which was
bound on earth. People are made of “earth” and the earth was literally
dissolved burn up and passed away with a great noise and earthquake.
Jer
31:27. Behold, the days
come, saith the Lord,
that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with
the seed of man, and with the seed of beast. … 29.
In those days … 30.
But every one shall die
for his own iniquity: … every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on
edge. 31. Behold,
the days come, saith
the Lord, that I
will make a new covenant with the house
of Israel , and with the
house of Judah :
32. Not
according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day
that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt ; which
my covenant they brake,
although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33. But this shall be the covenant
that I will make with the house of Israel ; After
those days, saith the
Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;
and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34…: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I
will remember their sin no more. (See “end of sin” annex)
Did Peter, Paul or the
Hebrew writer have a veil over their face when they cite and quote from the OT
scriptures in defining what sound doctrine is?
NO! Psalms et al are the source,
bases and justification for his arguments. The new song is the song of the lamb
and thus reflects the new covenant whereas the old song was the song of Moses
under the old covenant. Psalms is NOT
about how to keep the law of Moses it is about how to keep the new covenant and
what the church would do and be done for the saints and in the congregation of
the saints. Revelation is not just about the new heavens it is also about the
new earth.
2 Cor 3:14. But their
minds were blinded:
for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old
testament; (The articles of law in the old covenant not the 40 books of
prophecy and scripture about the messiah & His church!?!) which vail is done away in Christ.
15. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon
their heart. (
Moses prophesied Christ for crying out loud and told us to listen to him.
However, the context is that old covenant and the ordnances of practice that
went with it for purification so as to keep it) 16. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and
WHERE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS , THERE IS LIBERTY . (Isaiah 11:2; 61:1)
1 Tim 1:5. Now the
end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith
unfeigned: 6. From which some
having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; 7. Desiring
to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof
they affirm. 8. But we know that the
law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
Many are confused mixing up doing away with the old law and
covenant with doing away with OT prophecies about the new covenant and how
things are defined in the NT from the OT ...... THEY SANG A NEW SONG in the
book of Revelation comes directly and verbatim out of OT and all dealing with
the destruction of Jerusalem
war of AD70 .... THE NEW SONG has EVERYTHING do to with this and the OT states
that the NT folks will sing with instruments & CLAPPING HANDS !?!?....it is
the demandable heresies that you hold that keep you from sound doctrine on
instruments and visa versa....your ignore the scriptures but claim your
speaking where the bible speaks....this is just foolishness and
"ironically" the very passages that speak of these things say that as
well!?!.....
When people ignore the source documents and doctrines that come from the
OT scriptures we were told not to think beyond, they are doomed to darkness.
The popular Idea amongst some today that that we do not need or should not “read Moses” or the law to understand and
define sound NT doctrine, is in great part the vain jangling some have turned
to.
2Tim 3:13. But evil men and seducers
shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14. But continue
thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of
whom thou hast learned them; 15. And that from a child thou hast
known the holy scriptures, which are ABLE TO MAKE THEY WISE UNTO SALVATION through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16. ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPERATION of God, and is PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE, for REPROOF, for CORRECTION, for INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS:
2Tim 2:15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH. 16. But shun profane and vain
babblings: for
they will increase unto more ungodliness.
Let’s look further at passages of scriptures that instruct
singing. We must never forget however where these verse are coming from and the
context in which they are found. We must look at the whole context from which
the apostle’s doctrines come from in all things. Only by examining the context
from which the apostles got there doctrine from can we understand sound
doctrine. Knowledge of the OT scriptures is essential for understanding sound
doctrine. The NT alone will not yield perfect understanding. The NT alone is
NOT sufficient for all things pertaining to salvation and that idea is a
heresy! Let’s begin with a selected text from Mathew that we saw earlier in the
section of Judgment from the book of Psalms. This passages will also led us to
the new song in Isaiah but will also be used in a reference in the book of
Romans that will in turn lead us to a quote in Psalms about singing. We find
the new song in the book of Psalms and in Isaiah. The source context for the doctrine of singing comes from:
Mat 12:20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking
flax shall he not quench, TILL HE SEND FORTH JUDMGNET UNTO VICTORY. 21.
And IN HIS NAME SHALL THE
GENTILES TRUST.
Isaiah 42:3. A bruised reed shall he not break,
and the smoking flax shall he not quench: (Mat 12:20. A bruised reed shall he not break, and
smoking flax shall he not quench, till
he send forth judgment unto victory. 21. And in
his name shall the Gentiles trust.) HE SHALL BRING FORTH JUDGMNET UNTO TRUTH.
4. He shall not fail nor be discouraged,
TILL HE HAVE SET JUDGMENT IN THE EARTH: and THE ISLES
SHALL WAIT FOR HIS LAW. (“in his name
shall the Gentiles trust”) 6…. GIVE THEE FOR A COVENANT OF THE PEOPLE, FOR A LIGHT OF
THE GENTILES; ….. 9. BEHOLD , THE
FORMER THINGS ARE COME TO PASShold, and NEW THINGS DO I DECLARE:
before they spring forth I tell you of them. 10. SING UNTO THE LORD A NEW SONG, ….. 12. Let
them give glory unto the Lord, and DECLARE HIS PRAISES IN THE ISLANDS. … 14. I have
long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: NOW WILL I
CRY LIKE A TRAVAILING WOMAN; ( See Ch
12 notes on Zion gives birth; all these prophecies have two sides, the Israel
to be destroyed and the Israel to be redeemed) I will destroy
and devour at once. 16….; I will lead them in paths that
they have not known:
I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things
straight. ( gospel is darkness to the
sinners and light to the redeemed) 22..; they are all of
them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none
delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. 23. Who among you will give ear to this? who will
hearken and hear for the time to come? 24….,
neither were they obedient unto his law.
25. Therefore he hath poured upon him
the fury of his
anger, (A FLOOD) .
Romans 15:9. ….. For this cause I WILL CONFESS TO THEE AMONG THE GNTILES AND SING UNTO THY NAME.
10. And again he saith, REJOICE, YE GENTILES, WHITH HIS
PEOPLE. 11. And again, PRAISE THE LORD, ALL YE GENTILES; AND
LAUD HIM, ALL YE PEOPLE. 12. …; IN HIM SHALL THE GENTILES TRUST.
Psalms 57:1. ….
yea, IN THE SHADOW OF THY WINGS (Mat 23:37) will I make my refuge, UNTIL
THESE CALAMITIES BE
OBERPAST. 2. I
will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth
all things for me. 7…..:
I WILL SING, AND GIVE PRAISE. 8. ..; AWAKE
, PSALTERY AND HARP; …
9. I WILL PRAISE THEE , O
LORD, AMONG THE PEOPLE: I WILL SING
UNTO THEE AMONG THE NATIONS. 10. …and THY TRUTH
UNTO THE CLOUDS. .
Psalms 117:1. O PRAISE THE LORD, ALL YE
NATIONS: PRAISE HIM, ALL YE PEOPLE.
A little
latter Isaiah continues with the same events of the folks who would partake in
that “NEW SONG”
Isaiah 52:1. Awake,
awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: (Resurrection; Rev 19:8; ch20; 3:4) for henceforth
there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. (Rev 21:1,27; 22:15) 2.
Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck,
O captive daughter of Zion. (Isaiah 61:1…to preach good tidings …; he hath sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives ; The spiritual seed
of Israel was captive to the gentiles via the physical seed that was
uncircumcised in heart and wore the name of the gentiles rather then the name
of God as outlined under the covenant ) 3. For thus saith the Lord, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. 4.
For thus saith the Lord God, My people went down aforetime into
Egypt to
sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. 5. … they that rule over them make them to howl, (Rev 1:7 & 18:11 annex section on the mourning) saith
the Lord; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.
6.Therefore my people shall know my name:
therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth
speak: behold, it is I. 7. How beautiful upon the
mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth
peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion , Thy God reigneth! 8. Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; (Day of the trumpet) with the voice
together shall
they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, (1 Cor 13:12; John 16:25 covered in the Rev 12:1 section) when
the Lord shall bring again Zion . 9. Break forth into
joy, sing (see Rev 5:9 new song & song of lamb) together, ye waste places of Jerusalem : (The spiritual
seed and city which was tied to the physical until such time as the physical
was destroyed) for the Lord
hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem . 10. The Lord hath
made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all
the ends of the earth shall see the
salvation of our God. 11. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her;
be ye clean, (Jerusalem/Babylon
Rev 18:14. Come
out of her, my people.) that
bear the vessels of the Lord. 12. For ye
shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you;
and God of Israel will be your rereward. (See Rev 1:9 section on the
kingdom the spirit of God is the kingdom and hence their reward)……

Psalms and the very same context as found elsewhere..
Heb
13:14. For
HERE HAVE WE NO
CONTINUING CITY, BUT WE SEEK ONE TO COME. (REV 21
The new Jerusalem; Heb
9:8,11; 11:10; 12:22-29; Eph 2:19; 2Cor 5:1 ) 15. By
him therefore LET US OFFER THE SACRIFICES OF PRAISE TO GOD CONTINUALLY, that is, THE FRUIT OF OUR LIPS GIVING THANKS TO HIS NAME. (What is
his name? It is His new name which is the same as that new song or the
word of the New covenant) 16. But to do good and to communicate forget not:
for WITH SUCH SACRIFICES GOD IS WELL PLEASED.
Psalms
116:2. .. WILL I CALL UPON
HIM AS LONG AS I LIVE. ..4.
THEN I CALLED UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver
my soul. 11….. All
men are liars.
12. What shall I render unto the Lord
for all his benefits toward me? 13. I
will take the cup of salvation, and CALL UPON THE
NAME OF THE LORD.
14. …. 15. PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE
DEATH OF HIS SAINTS. (Rev 14:12. Here is the patience of the saints: here
are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. 13. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto
me, Write, Blessed are the dead which
die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may
rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.) 16. O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am
thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds. 17. I WILL OFFER TO THEE THE SACRIFICES OF
THANKSGIVING, AND WILL CALL UPON THE
NAME OF THE LORD. (Acts 2:21And it shall come to pass, that
whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord [Acts 22:16] shall be saved.) .

107:7….. THAT THY MIGHT GO TO A
CITY OF HABITAION . (Heb 9:8,11; 11:10; 12:22-29; Eph 2:19; 2Cor 5:1)
8. Oh that men would PRAISE
THE LORD FOR HIS GOODNESS, AND FOR HIS WORNDERFULL WORKS … 11. Because THEY
REBELLED AGAINST THE WORDS OF GOD, and contemned the counsel of the most High: 12.
….. 13. Then they cried unto the
Lord IN THEIR TROUBLE, (Dan 12:1 “a time of trouble”; Mat
24:21,29,35 ) and he saved
them out of their distresses. 14. He brought them out of
darkness and the shadow of death, …. 17. Fools because of their transgression, and
because of their iniquities, are afflicted. 18. Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and
they draw near unto the gates of death. 19. Then they cry
unto the Lord in their
trouble, ….. 20. He sent his word, and HEALED
THEM, (Isaiah 61: ; Lk 4:18 “sent me to
heal the brokenhearted”;
7:22) ………21.. and FOR HIS WONDERFULL WORKS to the children of men! 22. And LET THEM SACRIFICE THE
SCRIFICES OF THANKSGIVING, (This is quoted in Heb 13:15. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually,
that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.) and DECLARE HIS WORDS WITH REJOICING. 23. They that go down to the sea in ships, that do
business in great waters;
24… 25. For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves
thereof. 26. They mount up to the heaven, they go down
again to the depths: THEIR SOUL IS MELTED BECAUSE
OF TROUBLE. 27.
THEY REEL TO AND FRO, AND
STAGGER LIKE A DRUNKEN MAN, AND ARE AT THEIR WIT’S END. (see
“heavens and earth pass away” in rev ch 21 and “cup of wrath” in Ch 17) 28.
Then they cry unto the Lord IN THEIR TROUBLE, (Dan 12:1 “a time of trouble”; Mat 24:21,29,35 ) and he bringeth them out of their
distresses. 29. …… THEIR
DESIRED HAVEN.
31. Oh that men would praise the Lord
for his goodness, and FOR HIS WONDERFULL WORKS to the children of men! (Acts 15:13. And after they had held their peace, James
answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me: 14. Simeon hath declared how God at the first did
visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people FOR HIS NAME. 15. And
to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, 16. After this I will return, and will build
again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
17. That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles,
upon whom MY NAME IS CALLED, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. 18.
Known unto God are ALL HIS
WORKS from the beginning of the world.) 32. Let them exalt
him also in the congregation of the people, and
praise him in the assembly of the elders. 33. …., for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. …….36.
And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, THAT THEY MAY PREPARE A
CITY FOR HABITAION: (Heb

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but
fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20. And are
built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ
himself being the chief corner stone; 21.
In whom all the building fitly
framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22. In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the
Spirit. ) …..39. Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction,
and sorrow. ( Rev 8 & Ezk ch 5) 40. HE
POURETH CONTEMPT UPON PRINCES, (A FLOOD) and causeth them to
wander in the wilderness, (From the beginning of Christ preaching
ministry till AD 70 is 40 Years also) where there is no way. …42. THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL SEE IT, AND REJOICE: and ALL INIQUITY SHALL SPOT HER
MOUTH. 43.
WHOSO IS WISE, AND WILL OBSERVE THESE THINGS EVEN THEY SHALL UNDERSTAND the lovingkindness of the Lord.
2Tim 3:13. But evil men and seducers shall wax
worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. ( Isaiah 66:4,22; 2Thess
2:11) 14. But continue thou in the things which
thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned
them; 15. And that from a child thou hast
known the holy scriptures, which are ABLE TO MAKE THEE WISE UNTO
SALVATION (Isaiah 11:2 “the spirit of wisdom and understanding”) through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16. ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPERATION of God, and is PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE, for REPROOF, for CORRECTION, for iNSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS:
Aslo take
note of the “wonderfull works” mentioned in verse 17 which the new song is
praising …and how fools do not understand this but those who observe these
things they shall understand and be wis e
unto salvation.
Psalms 92:1. It is a good thing to give thanks unto
the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
2. To shew forth thy lovingkindness in
the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, 3. Upon an
instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn
sound. 4. For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph
in the works of
thy hands. 5. O Lord, how great are thy works! and
thy thoughts are very deep. (1Cor
2:10) 6. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. (this is not just limited to the previous verse only as
demonstrated in the other Psalms passages that speak to these very same
things…..) 7. When the wicked spring as the grass, and when
all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it
is that they shall be
destroyed for ever: 8. But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.
9. For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord, for,
lo, thine enemies shall
perish; all the workers of
iniquity shall be
scattered. 10. But my
horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with
fresh oil. 11. Mine eye also shall see
my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against
me. 12. The righteous shall flourish
like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon .
13. Those that be planted in the
house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14. They shall still bring forth
fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; 15. To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in
him.
Psalms 94:1. O Lord God, to
whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. 2. Lift up thyself, thou judge of the
earth: render a reward to the proud. 3. Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4. How long shall they utter and speak hard
things? and all the workers of iniquity
boast themselves? 5. They
break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.
6. They slay the widow and the stranger,
and murder the fatherless. 7. Yet they
say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it. 8. Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools,
when will ye be wise? 9. He that
planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10. He that chastiseth the heathen,
shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11. The Lord knoweth the thoughts of
man, that they are vanity. 12. Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;
13. That thou mayest give him rest
from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked. 14. For the Lord will not cast off his people,
neither will he forsake his inheritance. 15.
But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16. Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? 17. Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had
almost dwelt in silence. 18. When I
said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. 19. In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy
comforts delight my soul. 20. Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which
frameth mischief by a law? 21.
They gather themselves together against the soul of
the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. 22. But the Lord is my defence; and my God is
the rock of my refuge. 23.
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness;
yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.
Psalms
64:2. Hide me from the secret counsel of the
wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: 3.
Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their
arrows, even bitter words: … 5. They encourage themselves in an evil matter:
they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? …7.
But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly
shall they be wounded. 8…. DECALRE THE WORK OF GOD; for THEY SHALL WISELY CONSIDER OF HIS DOING. (Isaiah 11:2 “the spirit of wisdom and understanding”) 10. The RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE GLAD
IN THE LORD AND SHALL TURST IN HIM; ..
Psalms
25:7 Remember not the
sins of my youth, (see also
“End of sin”) nor my
transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake,
O Lord. 8. Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore WILL HE TEACH
SINNERS IN THE WAY. (Mat 9:10-11;
John 14:6; Mat 7:13-14; Acts 2:28 whichi is quote from Ps 16:8-11;
Acts 16:17; 18:25-26; 24:14. But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call
heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are
written in the law and in the prophets: )
9. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the
meek will he teach his way. 10. All the
paths of the Lord are mercy and truth UNTO SUCH AS KEEP HIS COVENANT AND HIS TESTIMONIES. (Rev 1:2,9,; 6:9; 11:7; 12:11,17;
15:5; 19:10; 1Cor 1:6; 2:1; 2Cor
1:12; 2Tim 1:8; Heb 9:18-24)

thy name's sake, O
Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. 12. What man is he that feareth the Lord? him
shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. 13. His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed
shall inherit the earth. 14. THE SECRET (Mystery of the gospel) OF THE LORD IS WITH THEM THAT FEAR HIM; AND HE WILL SHEW THEM
HIS COVENANT. (This is the new covenant not the old) … 19.
Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. 20.
O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my
trust in thee. …. 22. REEDEM
ISREAL, O God, (Lk 21:28,31; Gal 3:13; 2Peter 2:1 “even
denying the Lord that bought them”; ) OUT OF ALL HIS TROUBLE, (same
trouble as mentioned in 107; Dan 12:1 “a time of trouble”; Mat 24:21,29,35 )
Psalms 96:1. O SING UNTO THE LORD A NEW SONG: sing unto the
Lord, all the earth. 2. Sing unto
the Lord, bless HIS NAME; (Col
3:16-17) shew forth his salvation from day to day. 3. DECLEAR HIS GLORY AMONG
THE HEATHEN, his wonders among all people. … 8. Give unto the Lord THE GLORY DUE UNTO HIS NAME:
bring an offering, and come into his courts. 9.
O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the
earth. 10. …… the world also shall be
established that it shall not be moved: HE SHALL JUDGE THE PEOPLE RIGHTEOUSLY. .. ..
He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel :
all the
ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. 4. Make
a joyful noise unto the Lord,
all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. 5. Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the
harp, and the voice of a psalm. 6. With trumpets and sound of cornet make
a joyful noise before the Lord,
the King. . ... 8. LET THE FLOODS CLAP
THEIR HANDS: let the hills be
joyful together 9. Before THE LORD:
FOR HE COMETH, TO JUDGE THE EARTH: WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL HE JUDGE THE WORLD AND THE PEOPLE WITH EQUITY.
We just looked
at Ps 107 and we are going to look at PS 107-109 but here we make another pause
to continue this train of thought with respect to the OT scriptures on the what
and how doctrine of signing with respect to the NT passages on the subject of
signing as well. You will notice that these passages cited by the apostles on
doctrine are not just “principles” taken from the OT scriptures that “apply in
principle” to NT doctrine. On the contrary, these OT scriptures are prophecies
and validation (Acts 17:11; 1Cor 4:6)
about what was coming with the messiah and what the Church would do! The
further we examine psalms and the NT scriptures the more we see the
impossibility of understating or defining NT doctrine without putting them in
the context from which they came from in the first place. Psalms is very good
example of this: While the primary focus is on the New song of Revelation and
Psalms we are taking a small diversion and looking at an expanded passages on
singing in general from the NT as well as the passages in Psalms which they are
derived from. Pay close attention to the continued use of the concepts of “Wisdom” and “hidden wisdom” or as opposed to the “secret” or “mystery” of
the Lord in the context of what and how to sing. Both are two sides to the same
Gospel coin. Wisdom revealed to the saints for salvation and hidden secrets for
those who are lost. This is what all the songs are about.
Eph 5:9. (For
THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS IN ALL GOODNESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS
AND TRUTH (2Cor 3:17. Now THE
LORD IS THAT SPRIIT: and WHERE
THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS , THERE IS LIBERTY ….this
was shown a few pages back)
10. PROVING WHAT IS
ACCEPTABLE UNTO THE LORD.
… 12. For it is a shame even to speak of
those things which are done of them in secret. 13. … BY THE LIGHT: for whatsever doth make manifest is
light. 14..… and CHRIST SHALL GIVE THEE LIGHT. 15. See then that ye walk
circumspectly, NOT AS FOOLS,
BUT AS WISE, 16. Redeeming the time, because the days are
evil. 17. Wherefore BE YE NOT UNWISE, BUT UNDERSTADNING WHAT THE WILL OF THE LORD IS … 19. SPEAKING TO YOURSELVES
IN PSALMS AND HYMS AND SPIRIUTAL SONGS, SINING AND MAKING MELODY IN YOUR HEART
TO THE LORD. 20. GIVING THANKS ALWAYS FOR ALL THINGS UNTO GOD and the father IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD
JESUS CHRIST; (The name of the lord Jeus is not “lord
Jesus” it is “the word”!) 21. ..
22. Wives, submit
yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23.
…
Take note
of how the NT command is taken from the same OT passages that are all speaking
to the very same context about the prophicies of the messiah and his church
what they would do and how they would do it!
1Cor 14:15
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with

Proverbs 3:3….; write them upon the table of
thine heart: ..7. Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 8. It shall be
health (see Rev 9:21 section on healing medicines)to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. … 11. My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: 12. For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even
as a father the son in whom he delighteth. 13.
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth
understanding. 14. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. … 17. Her ways
are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
18. She (Understanding or wisdom) is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon
her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. …21. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: 22. So shall they be life unto thy
soul, … 25. Be not afraid
of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. ……30. Strive not with a man without
cause, if he have done thee no harm. 31. Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none
of his ways. 32. For the froward is
abomination to the
Lord: but his secret
is with the
righteous. 33. The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of
the just. …. .. 35. The wise shall inherit glory:
but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
Those who take the NT passages on
singing external of the context in which they originated from and attempt to
claim they speak where the bible speaks are at best woefully ignorant and at
worst hertical hypocrites. You can’t be edifying the church by singing songs of
heresy and ignorance. Most people in the churches might as well be speaking in
a unknown tongue for even the Pharisees could quote scripture but they did not
have a clue what they were referring either! The book of psalms is not how they
or anyone was to keep the Law of Moses, nor is it ambiguous poetry. It is a
prophecy about what the Christ and his people and church would do in the new
heavens dn new earth would do. That is why we were told to sing Psalms. Ironic
that folk who claim to speak where the bible speaks don’t actually pay to much
attention to the book because they think it is not relevant for NT doctrine on
how to sing even though every verse of scripture in the NT on singing comes and
or is a quote from the book of psalms. These hypocrites have no problem going
to the book store and buying a “psalm book” but will ignore the very book
called Palms that the NT writers quote from. Desiring to be teachers of the law
understanding neither what they do not say nor wherefore they affirm. They obviously don’t have a clue what the book of
psalms is about or what sound and authoritative doctrine is. Imagine someone
telling others to use Kimberley ’s
cookbook and bake a cake and even quote a small section out of that cookbook.
Imagine that same person walks in a little latter and starts berating the
people for using flour and sugar and a mechanical mixer of all things!?!
Imagine that persons making the claim “All I said was back a cake I did not say
anything about flour or sugar or an electric mixer of all things; all that
other stuff is unauthorized”. You would rightly think that person was a fool,
because the instruction to bake the cake is defined by the cookbook that was
even quoted from when the instructions were given.
Let’s take
one more short detour and then we will continue from Psalms 107 a few pages
earlier and on to Ps 108 and then 109 to see how Peter used these passages. The
secret or the mystery is namely that with the destruction of the physical
nation and people, would come Redemption for a remnant and the Gentiles.
Redemption and destruction go hand in hand, because they are simply two sides
to the same coin and same events.
1 Cor 2:7.
But WE SPEAK THE WISDOM OF GOD IN A MYSTERY, even THE HIDDEN WISDOM, …..
8. Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, … (Mat23:37-43 10. BUT GOD HATH REVEALED THEM UNTO US ….Remember PS 107: 43. WHOSO

And all men shall fear, and shall DECALRE
THE WORK OF GOD; for THEY
SHALL WISELY CONSIDER OF HIS DOING.
Romans 16:25.
Now to him that is of power to stablish you ACCORDING TO MY GOSPEL, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, ACCORDING TO THE
REVELATION OF THE MYSTERY WHICH WAS KEPT SECRET since
the world began,
26. BUT NOW is MADE MANIFEST, and BY THE SCRIPTURES OF THE PROPHETS, (Acts
17:11 & 1 Cor 4:6; 2Tim 3:15-16) according to the commandment of the
everlasting God, MADE KNOWN TO
ALL NATIONS …
2Cor 4:3.
But IF OUR GOSPEL BE HID, IT IS HID TO THEM THAT ARE LOST: 4. In whom THE
GOD OF THIS WORLD HATH BLINDED THE MINDS OF THEM WHICH BELIVE NOT, LEST THE LIGHT OF THE
GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, who is the image of God, SHOULD SHINE UNTO THEM
5. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus
the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6…, to give THE
LIGHT OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE FACE OF JESUES CHRIST. ….
Now back
to “singing thee among the nations” and
“the Trouble” that was coming on Israel and the doctrine of singing
….
Lets go back a little and keep
looking at the train of thought for doctrine of singing from Psalms 107, 108
and 109. Contrary to popular ignorance, Peter has a very good rational for his
argument in Acts 1:15. And in those days Peter stood up in the midst
of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred
and twenty,) 16. Men and brethren, this
scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of
David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
17. For he was numbered with us, and had
obtained part of this ministry. 18. Now
this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong,
he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19. And it was known unto all the dwellers at
Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama,
that is to say, The field of blood. 20. FOR IT IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF PSALMS,
Let his habitation be desolate,
and let no man dwell therein: and his
bishoprick let another take. 21.
Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that
the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22.
Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken
up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
23. And they appointed two, Joseph
called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias
Psalms

THY TRUTH REACHETH UNTO THE CLOUDS. (Ps 57:10) …..
12. Give us HELP FROM OUR TROUBLE (Dan 12:1 “a time of trouble”; Mat 24:21,29,35 ) for vain is the help of man. 13. Through God we shall do valiantly: for HE IT IS THAT SHALL TREAD DOWN OUR ENEMIES. (Rev ch 6 notes “How long O lord”; ..Rom 16:20. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.

PRAISE. 8. Awake up, my glory; AWAKE ,
PSALTERY AND HARP; I

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the
children which God hath given me.
Psalms 60:1. O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, …
3. Thou hast shewed thy people hard
things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
4. Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed

Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off?
and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
11. Give us help from trouble: (Dan 12:1 “a
time of trouble”; Mat 24:21,29,35 )for vain is the help of man. 12. Through God we shall do
valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
Psalms 109:2. … THEY
HAVE SPOKEN AGAINST ME WITH A LYING TONGUE. (Mk 14:56;)
3. THEY COMPASSED ME ABOUT WITH

5. And THEY HAVE REWARDED ME EVIL
FOR GOOD, AND HATRED FOR MY LOVE. 6. SET

LET HIS DAYS BE FEW; and LET ANOTHER TAKE HIS OFFICE. (Acts 9: 20. for it is written in the book os PSALMS
Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take) Let

vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also OUT OF THEIR DESOLATE
PLACES. 11…. 12. Let there be none to extend mercy unto him:
neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children. (Mat 26:24.
The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by
whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not
been born. 25. Then Judas, which
betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast
said.) 13. Let his posterity be cut off; and in the
generation following LET THEIR NAME BE BLOTTED OUT. (Rev 3:5; 2Peter 2:20. For
if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of
the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangeld therein, and
overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21. For it had been better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from
the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, the dog is
turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in
the mire.) …. 18.
As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, SO LET IT COME INTO HIS
BOWELS LIKE WATER, AND LIKE OIL INTO HIS BONES. ( Acts 1:16. Men and
brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost
by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them
that took Jesus. 17. For he was numbered
with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. 18. Now this man purchased a
field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in
the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.) 19.
Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle
wherewith he is girded continually. 20.
Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the Lord, and of them
that speak evil against my soul.
21. But do thou for me, O God the Lord, FOR
THY NAME’S SAKE:
because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me. …..25. I became also a reproach unto them: when THEY
LOOKED UPON ME THEY SHAKED THEIR HEADS. (Mat 27:41) …. 29.
Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover
themselves WITH THEIR OWN CONFUSION, (Dan 9:7 “but unto us confusion of faces”; et al) as with a mantle. 30. I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth;
yea, I WILL PRAISE HIM AMONG THE MULTITUDE.
.
While it may be difficult at first
to see the relationship of PS 109 and Acts 2 when peter quotes this and offers
it as the reason for selecting a new apostle to take the place of Judas
Iscariot, when placed in the larger context it becomes quite obvious. All of
these things are talking about the same things.
This gets to the point of the “new song” in Revelation is the contrast
to the old. The old song is a curse; the new is redemption from that curse. Both
songs mention both parts a curse and a redemption, but the focus or “end point” of each is
different. The Focus or “end point” of the song of Moses or the old song is the
curse and destruction that was coming upon physical; nation people; kingdom of God . The focus or “end point” of the New
is the Redemption that would come after that destruction came also. Notice the
destruction of physical Israel
was the beginning of the avenging of the blood of his servants. They thought
the Messiah would come and destroy The enemies out of the physical land;
people; and kingdom. The Mystery was that God would come and destroy the
sinners out of the land and kingdom by destroying the physical land; people and
kingdom. Two sides to the same coin of Israel . The physical Israel to be
destroyed, leaving only a spiritual house; people; kingdom to be Redeemed.
Everything always goes back to the destruction of the seven years war of AD70. Look
at Rev 15:3
Deut 32:17. They SACRIFICED UNTO DEVILS, (PS 106:35-37
& Rev 9:20) … 29.
O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would
consider their LATTER END! … (Jer 23:20&39; Isaiah 47:7 …neither didst remember THE LATTER END OF IT). ………….43. REJOICE, O YE NATIONS, WHITH HIS PEOPLE: for HE WILL AVENGE THE BLOOD OF HIS SERVANTS,
(Rev 6:10.. How long, O Lord,
holy and true, dost thou not judge
and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?;…… 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of
saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.) and will RENDER
VENGEANCE (Luke 21:22) to his
adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people. 44. And Moses came and spake ALL THE WORDS OF THIS SONG (Rev 5v9,
& 15:3 note also this in
the song of Moses and the “new song” aka song of the lamb are both found in the
book of Psalms) in the ears of
the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.
Hosea 2:1.
Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah. 2. Plead with your
mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her
therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from
between her breasts; ….
5. For their
mother hath played the harlot: …. 7. And she shall follow after her lovers, …. 10.
And now will I discover
her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand. ….. 12. And I
will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the
beasts of the field shall eat them. 13.
And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and
she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her
lovers, and forgat me,
saith the Lord. 14. Therefore, behold, I
will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto
her. 15. And I will give her her
vineyards from thence, and the valley
of Achor for a door of hope: and SHE SHALL SING THERE, AS IN THE DAYS OF HER YOUTH, AND AS IN THE DAY WHEN SHE CAME UP OUT OF THE LAND OF EGPYT . 16. And
IT SHALL BE AT THAT DAY, saith the Lord, that THOU SHALT CALL ME
ISHI; … 18. And in that day will I make a covenant for them …19.
And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in
judgment, and in
lovingkindness, and in mercies. 20. I
will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord.
21. And
it shall come to pass in that day, ……. 23. And I will sow
her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained
mercy; and I will say to
them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art
my God.
These passages are not jumbled up,
they are all talking about the same two things from different perspectives,
namely the redemption for the spiritual house and destruction for the physical
house. We will see latter how this and other passages are being referenced in
Rev 17:5 “the mother of harlots” and “mystery Babylon ”
Isaiah 27:1. In
that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish
leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. 2. In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of
red wine. 3. I the Lord do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. …..,
and fill the face of the world with
fruit. 7. Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that
smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by
him? 8. In measure, when it shooteth
forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind. 9. By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take
away his sin;
when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in
sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up. 10. Yet the defenced city shall be
desolate, and the habitation forsaken, 11…: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that
made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them
no favour. 12. And it shall come to
pass in that day, that the Lord shall beat off from the channel
of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel. (Rom
9:6 Not as though the word of God hath
taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Rev 2:9 I
know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know
the blasphemy of them which say they
are Jews, and are not, but are
the synagogue of Satan.) 13.
And it shall come to pass in that day,
that the great trumpet shall be blown, (The last trump) and they shall come which were ready
to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
The whole
doctrine of NT singing in inexorably intertwined into the doctrine of Christ
coming, the redemption and destruction that is found in all of these
scriptures. If you want to know how to bake a cake you would be “wise” to
consult a “how to” guide. Likewise if you want to know and “understand” sound
doctrine on singing including how to sing and what to sing, you must consult
the very scriptures they quote from and tell you not to think beyond! To claim
instruments in worship are not found in the NT doctrine of singing is like
using words while ignoring the definition of those words. These very verses and
their prophetic context of what to sing and how to sing in the church is
defining texts for “Heb 13:15.. “let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God
continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name”) His
name is not Jesus nor is it God His name is his word and his word is what tells
us what and how to sing and defines all context for sound doctrine in all
things.
The Law & the
Prophets for the song of moses (the curse) and the song of the lamb
(redemption) can all be summed up
with the following
Deut 30:1. ..THE BLESSING ……AND…… THE
CURSE,
Isaiah 35:2 ... YOUR GOD WILL COME
WITH VENGEANCE, (Lk 21:22) EVEN GOD WITH A RECOMPENCE;
HE WILL COME AND SAVE YOU.
Gal 3:13. Christ hath REDEEMED US from THE CURSE OF THE LAW
These wicked men don’t understand
are not wise and do not sing psalms with understanding they sing heresy with
glee and contempt for the truth and then condemn others for actually doing what
it said.?!?! “Everything is over” that phrase would need some context if
someone came to you and made it. That is relatively easy to understand and yet
many find it difficult to understand that “the law” that was done away with and
nailed to the cross had a very specific meaning that did not refer to the OT as
use for defining , understanding and validating all doctrine. Only the
ordinances for purification, sanctification, were done away with because Christ
had already obtained ALL the
everlasting blessings promised under the law. Only Christ kept it perfectly,
and as such inherited everything and now in a position to give it to his
followers. The law (rituals) and
ordinances became moot when the promised seed came and inherited all things
according to promises of the law. What would be the point of continuing the
rituals if the promises an inheritance were already given away to someone else
namely Christ? This has nothing to do with doing away with the prophecies about
what the messiah and Church would do which is what Psalms is about. Having said
this we must also consider the fact that the instructions are inclusive not an
exclusive list. In the same way that men might point to his children and say
“ok guys, I want you all to go out and
clean the yard. I want you get a rake, some trash bags, some gloves, the weed
eater, the lawnmower and clean up the yard. Only a fool would try to interpret
that as a command for each son to wear gloves with trash bags in his hand along
with a rake, a weed eater, sitting on a lawnmower all at the same time or even
all individually! The list is inclusive to what the sons will use and do it is
not an exclusive demand for everyone to do or use everything and certainly not
all at the same time. Like all scriptures that address doctrine and prophecy
they must be taken in concert with each other not in spite of each other. More
often then not scriptures use inclusive not exclusive commands and descriptions.
The law of Moses was an exclusive do not add to or take from law. The whole
point of that law was to show IT DOESNT WORK! However, it foretold of a new
covenant and new law that would be more inclusive in its “legal” structure. All NT doctrine is comes from and is defined
by the OT scriptures. (2Tim 3:14-17; Acts
17:11; 1Cor 4:6)Every NT passage of scripture on singing comes out of and
or directly quotes from the book named psalms such that one could only wonder
what Psalms we are to sing with the understanding. If you want to know what is
“authorized” perhaps you should pay attention to the scriptures they quote from
when they issue doctrine on such things as singing and then even told you not
to think beyond that!? If someone put you in a kitchen and told you to bake a
“famous chocolate cake” and then you proceed to look at the directions for how
to bake a “famous chocolate cake”, what kind of fool would you think of people
who walled in the room and told you to “Stop,
he only said bake a ‘famous chocolate cake’ he did not say anything
about flour or sugar and certainly nothing about using a mixer”!?! This
foolishness is like reading a word in a book and then ignoring the “authorized”
definition of the word in the dictionary you were given and told not to think
beyond!
SOME OTHER EXAMPLES OF DOCTRINE FROM OT SCRIPTUTRE:
EPH 6:2 Honour thy father and mother;
(which is the first commandment with promise;)
Exodus 20:12. Honour thy father and
thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God
giveth thee.
Acts 23:5. Then said Paul, I wist
not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for
it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
Exodus 22:28 Thou shalt not
revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people
1 Cor 9:8. Say I these things as a
man? or saith not the law
the same also? 9. For
it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. (Deut 25:4) Doth God take care for oxen? 10. Or saith he it
altogether for our sakes? For
our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow
in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
11. If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we
shall reap your carnal things? 12. If others be partakers of this power
over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but
suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. 13. Do ye
not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the
temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
14. Even so hath the
Lord ordained that they
which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
1 Tim 5:18. For the scripture saith,
Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is
worthy of his reward.
Mat 13:52 Then said he unto them,
Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder,
which bringeth forth out of
his treasure things new and old.
1 Cor 14:34. Let your women keep
silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they
are commanded to be under obedience, as
also saith the law.
1 Cor 14:21. In the law it is written,
With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet
for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. 22. Wherefore tongues
are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but
prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
Acts 13:38. Be it known unto you
therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the
forgiveness of sins: 39. And by him all that believe are justified from
all things, from which ye
could not be justified by the law of Moses. 40. Beware therefore, lest that
come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; 41. Behold, ye
despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which
ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.
Romans 12:19. Dearly beloved, avenge
not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written,
Vengeance is mine; (Deut 32:35;Lk 21:22) I will repay, saith the Lord.
1 Cor 1:19. For it is written, I
will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the
understanding of the prudent.
1 Cor 3:1919. For the wisdom of this
world is foolishness with God. For
it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
John 8:17. It is also written in your law,
that the testimony of two men is true. ( 2 Cor 13:1)
Acts 1:20. For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his
habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let
another take.
Ezekiel 37:21 whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and
bring them into their own land: 22. And I will make them one nation in the land upon the
mountains of Israel ; and one
king shall be king to them all: and they shall
be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any
more at all. 23. Neither shall they
defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I
will save them out of all their
dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and
will cleanse them: so
shall they be my people, and I will be
their God. 24. And David
my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall
have one shepherd:
they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25. And they shall dwell in the land
that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their
children, and their children's children for
ever: and my servant
David shall be their prince for ever. 26. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them;
it shall be an everlasting covenant with
them: and I will place them, and multiply them,
and will set my sanctuary
in the midst of them for evermore. 27. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I
will be their God, and they shall
be my people. 28. And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do
sanctify Israel ,
when my
sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for
evermore. (Rev 21:3)
Psalms 87:1.
His foundation is in the holy mountains. 2. The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3. Glorious things are spoken of thee, O CITY OF GOD. Selah. 4. I will make
mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that
know me: behold
Philistia, and Tyre , with Ethiopia ; this
man was born there. 5. And of Zion
it shall be said, This and that
man was born in
her: (Rev Ch 12 notes the women who gives birth
is Zion ) and the highest himself shall establish
her. 6. The Lord shall count, when he
writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. 7. AS WELL THE SINGERS AS THE PLAYERS ON INSTRUMENTS SHALL BE THERE: all my springs are in thee.
These OT passages are NOT about how
to keep the law of Moses or the old law They
are a prophecy about the new earth/ Church & the new Heavens/ New Jerusalem
and what the church would do! Remember psalms & revelation is not just
about the new heavens they are also about the new earth and the new earth or
dirt that the spirit of God dwells in is the Church. Also understand anything
done by and in the church (no matter how “authorized” you may think it is ) can
be abused. Consider how the authorized action of the LT was abused and that is
an explicit command to keep. Consider 1 Cor 11:17-21. So the fact that
something can and is abused in churches (partaking of the LT or instriments;
both can be done abusivly) is not a
valid or logical argument against it. Therfore you who condem those who use
instriments are condemned if you don’t for the very same reasons that you
condem them, namely the scriptures describe them in use in the new heavens and
earth, which is the Church!?! Notwithstanding they are described inclusively
not exclusively that is to say for those who do not condem others for using
them they are not condemned for not using them such as Paul and Silas in the
jail probably did not use them. However they could still clap their hands. The
same God that gave you voices also gave you your hands, and those too are
explicitly described for use in the church. If you are still unclear review the
passages that speak to singing in the church as they are all used in this
section and refer to and quote from the scriptures you were told not to think
beyond, note the context is the very gospel message of the book of revelation.
